He’s going to have to admit or deny illegal drug taking under oath, this could have serious implications re those seeking details in relation to his US green card declaration.

He does not need the money, and he risks significant reputational damage – I think he has been very poorly advised by his legal team (to take this action); maybe he can sue them when things go bad.

In a worst-case scenario he could end up being thrown out of the USA, and he’d be back in the UK. Maybe we could find some other country that would be willing to take him in.
