//So Brexit Did Cost Lives//
//Matt Hancock has admitted as much, giving evidence at the Covid pandemic enquiry today.//
It would be really useful if you would elaborate on your rantings from time to time. I suppose we should at least be grateful we have not been spared that rabid bloke on YouTube this time.
Is it this you are referring to:
“The former health secretary was repeatedly asked about the recommendations from Exercise Cygnus, a three-day test run in October 2016 to find out how prepared the UK was for a influenza pandemic.
It concluded that the UK's plan was not sufficient to "cope with the extreme demands of a severe pandemic"
The Inquiry has seen evidence that only eight of the 22 recommendations made after that exercise had been fully addressed by the time Covid hit with work on the other 14, including to prepare the social care sector, still ongoing.
Mr Hancock said that some of that work had been paused because of the need to prepare the country for a no-deal Brexit.”
If that is so, how do you translate the above passage into “Matt Hancock has admitted that Brexit cost lives?”
//So now when Tories confess to being grossly incompetent//
Again, where is this stated? I’ve found one passage for you, I'm not doing any more digging for you.
//Brexit is sure to get a mention in the final Covid pandemic report, as a contributing factor.//
A contributing factor to what and how? How do you draw such a conclusion from an enquiry that has been running for a few weeks and which is expected to last two years? And even if Brexit did result in a greater number of deaths (which is yet to be shown in any meaningful form) are you suggesting it should not have gone ahead, just in case the country faced a pandemic?
Your ramblings are becoming ever more disjointed and incoherent.
