Interesting article from Ron Liddell who says:

//Oddly enough, it looks like they are one and the same person.

Because while Starmer is popping up all over the place, such as in Paris meeting the French president Emmanuel Macron — it’s Blair who is pulling all the strings.

Blair is playing the part of Rod Hull. Poor old Keir is his gormless Emu.

It was Blair who fixed it for Starmer to go to the big French bash. He reportedly had a quiet word with the oily Macron — and sorted!

But he’s also beginning to direct policy.//

Gulliver, since Boris is no longer an MP why on earth do you keep bleating on about him?  An answer would be welcome.

May be someone should remind Boris he is no longer an MP. He just might stop poking his nose in.

Question Author

He's a columnist now so you can write to him.  Daily Mail I think.

Wouldnt waste my time.

Question Author

He'll never know you want him to butt out then.   Hey ho.

Millions have already made that very plain to Boris, to butt out, thats why he's out of office. But it takes a long time for the penny to drop. Gullivers posts are factual, either on the day he posts them, or of previous days, so why all the fuss i dont know. Boris could learn a thing or to about facts, on the other may be not.

Question Author

You're mistaken.  Millions didn't vote him out.  The millions who voted him in weren't asked.

Strange how so many are still so afraid of him.

If you say so? But theres one thing I'm pretty sure about, no one will be pulling Boris's strings because there all in tatters. What a silly man won it all, then flushed it down the pan.

// What a silly man won it all, then flushed it down the pan.//

He messed up sure... but were there any exPMs that's still held in high regard??. Are you sur ehe won't be back.... some opponenents seem afraid of him as they still go on about him

The only reason, if there is one, that anyone in  the CP should be concerned about Boris, is the fact that he keeps poking his nose in, inturn reminding the people of this country of the past disasters, the latter is not good if they want to win the next GE. The best, and only thing Boris could do right now is, shut up.

Question Author

Nicebloke, and there's another thing.  An awful lot of people don't think he messed up.  But he's gone so why are you worrying about what he's saying?  Lots of columnists voice opinions.  You don't worry about them.

'The millions who voted him in weren't asked'

No member of the public voted BJ 'in', Naomi. He was elected leader by an internal postal ballot.

The public don't elect Prime Ministers but the natural life-long Labour voters who voted Conservative in 2019 didn't vote Conservative per se - they voted for Boris and Brexit.   Some I know, never having even considered putting their cross by a Conservative before, held their noses as they did it.  Nevertheless they did it.

Gulliver, since Boris is no longer an MP why on earth do you keep bleating on about him?  An answer would be welcome.

The king is not an MP

Prince william is not an MP

Hazza bless! is not an  MP - and yet we bleat endlessly about them.

and gully is not an MP but my god dont the ABers ( usual suspects) bleat arn and arn and arn....( wowser!)

(thx to Gig Young, They SHoot Horses dont they 1967)

yeah Boris is intervening because HE was the one that OK'd HS2 in the first place and doesnt want his great infrastructure plan scrapped

heigh ho as someone said, these are the people that ruled us

If Rod Liddell said it, it must be true! It's gotta be true!

Dominic Cummings was pulling Boris's strings from day one so what's new .Until Carrie pulled him ...and the ...crash He  fell of the wall .lol

The difference being that the King, Prince William and, I assume Hazza is Harry ( and you complain about TTT and his rhyming slang), are not being  complained about every day the way Boris Johnson is. Strange that people here don't  complain about Tony Blair and Gordon Brown "poking their noses in", which they do frequently. You all seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Boris Johnson.

nicebloke1, isn't that what most ex PMs do, poke their noses in just as Blair does on a regular basis.  gulliver is this the same Dominic Cummings who you used  to hate with a passion but now seem to love.  Make up your mind and stop changing it or you will start to sound like some in the Labour party.

It now seems that Blair is pulling Stamer's string, so those who are moaning about Boris pulling the strings should also be worried about Blair pulling Stamer's strings.  Ehats the difference?
