Snp Minister Leaves Princess Ann Waiting
The long-time SNP minister and Humza Yousaf's deputy, Shona Robison, has been accused of "completely disrespectful" conduct after she failed to show up on time to the Royal opening of Aberdeen South Harbour on behalf of the Scottish Government and failed to thank the princess for attending. Ms Robison kept the crowd waiting for 40 minutes.
Just plain rude to create such embarrassment. Scotland deserves better.

The speeches were not delayed and the organisers were notified in advance."
> No details were given of a reason for the late arrival.
Not only Princess Anne, but everybody, had to wait, with no apology (only "organisers" were apologised) and without even a reason. That's just rude and egotistical.
Because the royal family is more important than everybody else, even you?
They are certainly more important than a minor politician. But that is besides the point. It wasn't as if she was unavoidably detained. She was deliberately late. She chose to prioritise "government business" over the agreement she had made to attend the ceremony. It is poor form and simply demonstrates a lack of courtesy.
I've no problem if Ms Robison does not accept the Monarchy. That's her choice and she's free to make it. But she should be true to her convictions and simply decline any invitations to any occasions which involve the Royal Family.
