Hamas do not value life. They lob their cherry bombs and then use innocent civilians as a shield and when Israel respond the pearl-clutches will whine that Israel are killing civilians. It's happened so many times that it's now predictable how the Israel-haters will react.

I know I'm going to get hammered for what I'm now going to say, but as far as I'm concerned the Israel-haters are also Jew-haters (I absolutely refuse to use the words 'anti-Semite' because there'll always be somebody nasally pointing out that the  Arabs are semites as well. I prefer Jew-haters - because that's what they are).

Just seen the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK on Sky news and he says it is always Israel that lobs the bombs over the wall into Gaza killing innocent civillians.  Couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I don't necessarily think this is a left/right thing, it's being a decent human issue.

Although that said, if you look at history, it's always been the left that causes the most death.

Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pot were all hard left and they're responsible for the horrific loss of life.

If they really thought about the implications of  the Palestinians gaining  control of Israel I doubt their supporters would want it to happen.    I can appreciate what's happened to the Palestinians - and I've been to Israel and other areas of the Middle East and visited refugee camps so I've seen their plight first hand - but there's no way I would want them in control of that area.

Hamas Attacks Israel......? I thought that they were desperate immigrants fleeing oppression and danger, and in fear of their lives. The social benefits of being in Israel rather than Iran are easily understood and the economic prospects are infinately more attractive. The tactics are a bit more extreme than we are used to but we would do well to pay attention. It is an indication of what is possible with enough eager participants and finace from a malign benefactor.

More than 20% of the population of Israel are Palestinian Arabs, a few are even in the military.

The problem isn't the 'Palestinians' but Hamas, encouraged & financed by the mad fckng Ali Khamenei Ayatollah of Iran.

They've taken a lot of hostages - a mother and two children, the eldest 5, among them.  Chilling.

This, for the benefit of anyone still unable or unwilling to see what's happening in front of their eyes, is what the beloved Palestinian chant “from the river to the sea” really means.

It means psychopaths rounding up Jewish families and burning their homes. It means children abducted from their parents’ arms. It means desecrated corpses spat on and dragged through the streets. It means a mother taken hostage as she clutches her babies to her chest. It means a kidnapped Jewish boy being mocked and hit by Palestinian children. It means the sadistic slaughter of Jewish men, women, children and babies.

This is what “from the river to the sea” means. This is what it has always meant.

This unparalleled psychotic onslaught by Hamas has nothing to do with a political cause. It’s not about calling for justice or a state. It’s got nothing to do with resistance, occupation or self-determination. It never has been.

ymb, As I said on the other thread their supporters, I believe. do it out of principle without regard for the consequences to the world of a Palestinian victory.  They are not evil - they are naive.  We are dealing with a mentality quite unlike our own -  they are barbaric and have no rule of fair play - and the sooner that is acknowledged the better.
