If most have all that the poor must be very much in the minority, so really you have to ask yourself why they are poor. I know people who live on benefits and they're not poor.
Their latest Con is to keep NIS and Tax thresholds frozen until 2028...
It may be the "latest" to you but the freezing of tax allowances until 2025-26 was first announced in March 2021 (i.e. two and a half years ago). In his Autumn Statement 2022 (i.e. a year ago) Chancellor Hunt extended the freeze by a further two years. Perhaps news arrives by pigeon post in your neck of the woods.
The Tories are doing some odd things with an election looming. Freezing the tax and Nhs threshold.Removing the winter fuel allowance for pensioners to pay for the triple lock on state pensions then making the fastest u turn ever ,when someone whispered in Sunaks ear that most pensioners are Tory voters .
All these things that you say the Conservatives are about to do can be easily reversed if and when Labour gain power.
It will be interesting to see (a) whether they gain power and (b) if they do, how many of these measures, taken by The Most Evil Government The World Has Ever Seen, are reversed. I must confess that, along with most politicians, I do not listen to his musings too closely, but as far as I can tell from Mr Starmer, whilst in opposition he has not done too much opposing.
