When attempts to broker a 'Two State' solution collapsed after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the Israeli PM, moderate Palestinians must have torn their hair in despair.

Where moderates can't make progress hard liners will take centre stage.

Hamad isn't ideal but they now embody resistance to Israel.

I believe there's no answer here but more and more murderous violence from Israel.
