I Can’t Look Anymore .

As usual this a.m. I read the online news. I can no longer read/ see pictures coming out of Gaza, they are so distressing and inhuman.

I know I'm lucky I can choose not to look, some people  in this war have no such luxury.

God help all those people affected in Gaza/ Israel .

Your right  Canary and it happens the world over.  I was very young when it occurred to me that both sides in any wars would pray to God to help them.  I used to wonder if  there was a God what side he would choose.

I too have given up looking at the news.  The situation is heartbreaking.  Its the innocents on both sides that suffer.

If you are Jewish and someone shouts "gas the Jews" (actually the equivalent phrase) in your presence than I don't think it matters whether they know that one specific person is Jewish. That seems to go without saying or so I thought

The real irony is that  Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship the same God, so it can't be about God. Like all wars, it's usually about territory. Yet Israel takes up about one percent of the Middle East as a whole and there are only about 14 million Jews in the entire world & 7 million in Israel, making up only 70% of the population, the other 30% are mostly Arabs.

The real reason for the hatred of Jews by Muslims lies in the Koran.
