That Hamas official on 9 October is definitely propagating lies, propaganda, alternative facts, fake news ... call it what you will.  It's distasteful and manipulative, whoever does it.

I've lost count of the number of times I've said the Islamic mindset is like no other but few listen.  As bizarre as it sounds, to his way of thinking he's telling the truth.  To fundametalist Islam outsiders don't have to be military to be regarded as the enemy,  If they aren't Muslim, being who they are is enough.

Just because Sandy sees the situation differently from you doesn't give you the right to be so critical of his view. So much propaganda is being released by both sides - who knows what to believe?

Hamas are, to many of the people from Gaza, freedom fighters.  To the rest of us, we see them as terrorists.  Their attack on Israel was unforgivable and Israel has every right to defend itself.

However, both sides are guilty of wanting to eliminate the other. 

I won't take sides in the Palestinian versus Israel war. To move towards any sort of peace the Palestinians and the Israelis should attempt to eradicate Hamas and any Israeli terrorist groups.

All war is wrong, the killing of civilians is wrong - whether by collateral damage or intentionally.

There are more than two sides.  I don't have a problem with a state defending itself against a terrorist aggressor, but I do have a problem with a state taking actions that result in children and babies being killed.

And I am positive Hamas Terrorists do not give a shi'ite if they do kill innocent Israeli woman and children by indiscriminately firing thousands of lethal rockets with no targeting or guidance systems into Israeli territory whilst sheltering their launch sites in school playgrounds and other civilian Gazan areas.
