Every country has rules about food stuffs that enter their country. Nothing to see here.

TTT – watch the video, this labelling is for food stuff for sale in the UK – why should we have to label our food ‘Not for EU’ (if it is not destined for the EU), no other country does.

Hence another Brexit benefit.

//why should we have to label our food ‘Not for EU’ //

Ask the EU.

Love the way they've filmed almost empty supermarket shelves.... not that they're trying to put a slant on it.  Hymie, you do make me laugh.  ;o)

And yet another first class video from Hymie. Very informative . ....Thanks..

A first class video?  Crikey, you're easily pleased, gulliver.  :o)

Ask the EU?

Whatever happened to sovereignty?

Question Author

Of course, the answer to the above is that as a result of Brexit, we have become a nation of rule takers (not rule makers).

"Whatever happened to sovereignty?" - we wrestled it back in Jan 2020 me old china.

They make their rules, we make ours.

Every country has rules about food stuffs that enter their country. Nothing to see here.

nope EU is not a country, but a conglomerate of countries with one  rule for all. Nothing to learn here: but that is only because no one ever learns....

Question Author

So why are we kowtowing to the EU with regards our food labelling?

12:13 stop it with this moronic BS, think it through you are making yourself look a complete April. Every country that exports makes goods to fit the rules of the country those goods are going to. Are Germany ruled by us because they make headlights pointing the way we need? Are the Japan ruled by us because they make appliances for our voltage? Just stop it with this idiotic BS.

"Whatever happened to sovereignty?" - we wrestled it back in Jan 2020 me old china.

so sovereignty allows NOT to export to the EU -

righto ! that is certainly a big advantage me old chyne

PP: "nope EUSSR is not a country, but a conglomerate of countries with one  rule for all. Nothing to learn here: but that is only because no one ever learns...." - not yet but the EUSSR lauds it over its slave nations and makes the rules for them all so for the purposes of this discussion they can be considered one entity.

Perhaps we should ask Germany if they will reciprocate, and label their entire domestic foodstuff ‘Not for UK’, and see whether they’ll agree to our demands.

Are food standard regulations different now in the UK and the EU?

Food products produced in N Ireland, for example, can't be exported to the South because they haven't got the EU mark of approval.

I'm sure they'd pass with  flying colours if they were tested.

Oh dear Hymie .Think you have upset the AB  Chief Soverign officer.🤣

Question Author

Once UK citizens start seeing domestic foodstuffs labelled ‘Not for EU’, many will think that it does not meet minimum EU standards, and is of inferior quality (which will not necessarily be the case) – undoubtedly impacting sales.

so for the purposes of this discussion they can be considered one entity.

so the EU is a country and not  a country ( entity) at the same time. righto ! OK you took the mensa test, did you er actually pass?

Hymie: it is pretty obviously an english factory mark for english sorters - dont put it in the EU basket, DO put it in the 'other' delivery chain.
