Hard to know what else you would have him say, or how he would say it.
This is a tradition that has been carried on since there has been the means of mass communication, and it's format has not changed since the first one, nor is it likely to do in the forseeable future.

Unfortunately such values are not universal - and if His Majesty thinks the Arbrahamic faiths make up any sort of family, it's a dysfunctional one. I've no doubt he's well meaning - but his attitude is naive.

Not necessarily; there are plenty of millionaires who drift around the world staying in hotels, staying with other people & living on yachts etc, by choice.

Canary instead of blaming everything on the RF, the Tories or the rich don't you think the first place to start is the irresponsible parents? - not all, I know bad times can befall anyone - but the vast majority of these chidren have poor starts becasue they are the result of 2 people having sex without a thought of the consequences and then expect the rest of us to feel guilty and help to house and raise their children for them. That's the real world.
