Ongoing Brexit Issues

Despite what some believe there are still issues following Brexit for us in NI.

We still do not have the range of goods in supermarkets that we had previously in particular cat and dog food.

Very few seed or plant companies will deliver to NI and there are issues trying to get stuff from Amazon like batteries/ battery packs and booze.

I have lost count how many times I have gone into to do orders only to discover they don't deliver to NI.

I know that probrexit members will now be going onto Amazon and seed companies to prove me wrong but I live with this every day.

I appreciate that there is a lot of fake news out there and this is not an opening for some of AB members to go on and say I told you so - I am giving you some facts. Tis all.

Are all of these new problems as I recall many companies would not deliver to NI before Brexit.  I have ordered stuff online before Brexit and they stated back then that they would not deliver to NI or Republic.  I have an Aunty who lives in the republic and she used to get problems with some companies well before Brexit happened.

I never had any issues prior to Brexit - I may have had to pay a bit more and wait a few more days but never an issue

What happened to the oven ready Brexit .  Sunlit uplands then.???

Are you able to get food from Zooplus?  I had to get renal food for my wee boy and it came from Germany.  He refused to eat it.

I don't doubt there are problems in NI but they are caused by a EUSSR hissy fit. Neither ROI, NI nor UK want what we ended up with there. If I was selling stuff I would not deliver there either too much of a pain in the April. We should have told the EUSSR to shove their demands and if they want a border then get their slave country to build one. End of.

Naomi that is a seed company in Ireland not GB!

Question Author

Wolf - I haven't looked for special food since Brice died but I used to get my stepmum to post it across to me!

Normal cat food and dog food have reduced in the flavour availability and ranges since brexit

I know.  So what's wrong with ordering whatever you want from them?

Question Author

Have you looked at the range? its pitiful compared to what we used to have.

Why should I order from them - we should be able to order from GB.

Question Author

God you are desperate!

Who's desperate?

Question Author

Naomi you are - you are so desperate to prove me to be a liar.

Redhelen, I'm simply addressing the OP and would have said the same regardless of the author's identity.
