The Majority of Brits now blame Brexit for fuelling inflation and the cost of living crisis, as well as leading to a record  net migration,... a new poll has shown....This poll by Opinium says out of 22.000 people interviewed 48%  said Brexit was bad for the UK .While only 22% thought that Brexit had a good impact . Two thirds said Brexit has been a factor of sky high inflation 46% also say Brexit had a bad impact on the NHS  and 53% said Brexit had reduced the ability to control their own borders So there you go then "You have never had it so bad.

This is my post don't join in if you just want to snipe at me OK

Rest easy, gulliver1, I'm not going to snipe at you. What I would like to say is this: surely, there can't be only one single cause of UK inflation? Has anyone come up with hard evidence that Brexit is the only cause of our inflation and cost of living crisis? I suspect that there are multiple reasons for our present woes, and that we shall never discover exactly what those reasons are.

Actually 2000 people polled - hardly representative of the UK population as a whole, is it?

...was almost a year ago.

....of course the "Power House" of the EUSSR is doing so well....

Bookbinder: " would like to say is this: surely, there can't be only one single cause of UK inflation?" - There is in this case, COVID, we printed £400bn and paid people to do nothing for a year. Anyone with a remote grasp of economics knows that QE = Inflation. Guliver as no knowledge of anything, this is just a standard grenade post on one of his 2 favourite subjects, both of which he is equally ignorant.

I'm fairly certain a majority of Brits are not that daft. Most if not all will be aware of global circumstances and how we fared pretty well under them. (Especially given the percentage of appalling politicians (and others) whose attempts to ignore democratically voted for aims and general disdain of the public had to be sidestepped.) When such results get published one has to be suspicious of how they picked their respondents.

Bookbinder @ 17.19"Has anyone come up with hard evidence that Brexit is the only cause of UK inflation and the cost of living crisis"

Brexit was bad for Britain ,, but it was also totally mismanaged by  the three clowns ..from Johnson to Truss and now the present clown ,all three of them in it for themselves. Truss and Johnson were feathering their own nests although Johnson wanted to become a household name  Which he managed to acomplish...."The Liar"   And Sunak is just a waste of space. ............................Bye Bye Tories......

All thanks to the English Tories and the Scottish SNPers, gulliver.Bloody nationalists,eh?

TTT @ 17.45 There's always one .Are you genetically incapable of joining in a sensible discussion TTT.

Impersonation is the sincerest form of flattery, cheers Gully, you flatter me with your impersonation.

TOGS, oh dear the 5C won't like that! 🎻

As a rule I don't do a  TCL and ask for evidence, but I really would like to see if (and it's a bloody big if) the majority of Brits blame Brexit for the cost of living crisis and inflation - simply because it wouldn't surprise me if it is something Gulliver has made up. Again.

The fact is printing money with gay abandon and paying people to sit on their  *** during Covid and then the invasion of Ukraine and with Russia turning off the taps is what has fuelled inflation and cost of living problems.

"This poll by Opinium says out of 22.000 people interviewed"

22 people is a rather small sample, you think?

DD: "As a rule I don't do a  TCL and ask for evidence, but I really would like to see if (and it's a bloody big if) the majority of Brits blame Brexit for the cost of living crisis and inflation " - People can blame what they want but do they actually have any knowledge of economics? A large section of the public believe in ghosts, doesn't mean they exist.

.....and it's the 4th anniversary comming up.

Majority, any proof of this or it in your tiny little mind.?

As gulliver is unable to do provide links it, or even how to 'copy and paste' to save having to retype blocks of text, I'll offer this:

Even better! the Guardian are all remoaner 5C types. It's only their opinion anyway, not based on any knowledge just like everything gulliver says.

Gulliver knows how to post link but choses not to, if he can find this site and register then he knows what hes doing.
