Hopefully, this is the first important step into reclaiming the english language and reining in the excesses of the TQ+ 'community' which have gained an inexplicable amount of traction in recent years.

Sorry for the repeat!

Despite having read that whole article, I found myself not knowing or caring who did what when where or why.

Jolly goof

Don't see examples of what was being claimed to be wrong. Based on the article's limited info I suspect her employers were putting their nose in where they weren't warranted and being controlling. Something that seems to be a growing trend with regards to individual citizen  - authority type group, relationships these days.

Wow. 4 posts materialised while writing a response. Judging by the Yahoo headline it seems it will be more informative and hiighlights yet another case of coming down on someone who states the truth, and bullying them to pretend that the emperor is wearing fine garments. I'll go read the Yahoo one now, but it looks like the employer needs to be taken to court not just for this incidence but their attitude/culture and severely fined at the very least.

She probably said something silly like only women have wombs and got suspended.

One correction to the article. It isn't just about gender critical beliefs, it is about stating gender critical facts, and certain folk trying to force others to lie according to the new fashion.

i'm with Thomas - i still have no idea whether she was criticalof "usual" gender roles or more "modern" thinking

// her actions “could be perceived to be derogatory and potentially discriminatory to members of the transgender community”.//

That seems cleqar enough to me.

It's so easy for oddness from elsewhere to gain traction these days.

Minor examples are the insistance on 'reaching out' instead of contacting and 'calling out' instead of challenging.

As you say CL, some sense at last.

Sorry about the first link.  It had a lot of info when I read and posted and seemed to be cut short.
