You publish a poll from a pro-republican site and think that figure is real????
I can paste below which puts the lowest support at 60% amongst the young. Hardly surprising. I really don'tknow why I bothered answering, it's just more of you normal daily fix, it's almost sad.
"Although the British monarchy is supported by a plurality of people across most age groups in Great Britain, it is among over 65 year-old's where the level is support is highest at 80 percent. Younger age groups are progressively more likely to oppose the monarchy, with 40 percent of 18-24 year old's opting instead for an elected head of state."
an Ipsos poll nearly a year ago showed approval already below 50%, so there's no call to carp at the poll organisation. I wonder if there will come a time when like Vennells they'll volunteer to hand in their badges.

gulliver - // ttt 20.47 This post is about the British Royal Family. If you want to discuss America and their gun culture, please open a seperate thread of your own. OK. Or have a day off. //
I don;t think it's that TTT wants to discuss the American culture - he is making the point that if you source your poll from an organisation that shares your views, you are highly likely to get a poll result that shares your views as well.
But that doesn't mean that the poll is an accurate reflection of what the majority of people think - only those chosen by the poll company, and they can bias that any way they like.
