It doesn't have to be someone. Government already exists and effectively rules. A figurehead is only there to greet other figureheads, so that should be able to be dispensed with easily enough.

Ireland manages quite well with a figurehead of state who is pretty uncontroversial - admittedly it wasn't always like that with that old snake de Valera.
Leave well alone I say: there may be issues - but who has a perfect family? It never has been and never will be and I can't think of a good enough reason to change it at the moment. Certainly no one here has come up with anything. Suggesting A or B is pointless as they won't be around forever. And they bring in the tourists feed the tabloids. It's like that episode of Dads Army when it looks like the ancient Pte Godfrey might be pensioned off: until they realise he's the one who makes the tea.
