Ex Pats can now vote in the UK General Elections thanks to the Tory  Party ,who changed the law for this to happen thinking it would bring more votes to help their ailing party. But it looks like it's going to rebound on them.. There are millions of expats who have  vowed to get their revenge on the Tories for Brexit and how it  has changed their lives abroad.   Woo Hoo..🤣🤣 Lol

When Johnson was shouting his mouth about saying let's take back control of our own borders (ha ha) restore sovereignty. Let's get Brexit done etc etc .Expats were called "deserters" as like davebro on this post "10.21" and another well know aber referred to them as 5Cs or traitors  ....But now the expats   "Have The Vote"... they can get revenge on the party that put them in the Brexit  Front line..lol.

That's another can of worms Jackson Reacher. One argument may be they have the right to return. I'm sure gulliver can say he has paid his taxes and is not currently a drain on NHS. And if a criterionisbeing a taxpayer Hereford that rule  out any of those on benefits, students, some pensioners...

Revenge? Well the small minded might

//There are millions of expats who have  vowed to get their revenge on the Tories for Brexit //

Millions?  Can you post a link to the poll please?

Chuckle ^

^ Hereford = here, would

There are no long passport queues at the moment.  I applied online on 28th January and received my new passport in about 7 days.

//And if a criterion is being a taxpayer Hereford that rule  out any of those on benefits, students, some pensioners...//

I would guess there are very few people (children incuded) who don't pay at least some VAT.

Good point davebro. And fuel, cig and alcohol duties.

The Cons have hired an overseas registration coordinator to mobilise thousands of Tory supporters who live abroad to vote in target seats that their party need to win in the GE.But the Cons seem to have forgotten that even Tory supporting Expats have had their lives turned upside down by Brexit They just don't get it do they...🤣.

Gulliver, can you answer my question from 10:32 please

Gulliver, just out of interest how has your life been 'turned upside down'?  You usually tell us you live in some sort of wonderful  Utopia.   Isn't that true then?

TTT, you have been asked more than once not to refer to other members by names you think they may have used previously - and still you do it - and still you complain when your offending posts are removed.  Before you ask - or moan - I removed your post for the reason stated above.  I told you the other day, if you don't do it your posts won't be going anywhere.  It really isn't rocket science.  Honestly it isn't.

Naomi 12.13 Read my post @ 12.07 I did not say. My life had been turnrd upside down .I was on about Tory Expats.

Hasn't it affected Labour ex-pats then, gulliver  - and if not, why not?

come on naomi, we all know the truth.

He's making it up as he goes along, Naomi.

Some examples of what has turned lives of Tory expats but not his nor other non-Tories'  lives) upside down would help.
