As far as I can tell he's being accused of being racist because he said she's an embrarrasment to all black women. Mistake fair enough but not racism. She's an embarrasment to all human beings let alone women let alone black women! For eff sake move on.
Well, it is racism. Rishi Sunak said it's racism. Kemi Badenoch said it's racism. The Tory Party says it's racism. So it's racism, according to your own Party, the one that accepted ten million pounds from Frank Hester.
More proof? OK. Compare Dianne Abbott to Jeremy Corbyn. They are very similar in many ways, but she's a black woman and he's a white man. There is no way that Frank Hester would have said Jeremy Corbyn made him "want to hate all white men". That is why what Hester did say about Abbott, that she made him "want to hate all black women", was both racist and misogynistic. Adding the fact that she should be shot was just icing on the cake for the racist misogynist, especially as at the time it wasn't like after a different Labour woman MP had been shot and killed.
toratoratora do you realise to use one black woman to say you now hate all black woman is literally racism because it is blaming a race for the behaviour of one woman i mean come on is it that hard
she is annoying because she is annoying has nothing to do with her being black or a woman so to say she makes me hate all black women is outrageous
We were actually in the public gallery while this was being batted back and forth (just able to make out the lady herself in her red coat).
In fairness what Mr Hester said was pretty appalling and trying to shrug it off merely by saying he'd apologised felt a bit weak, especially if it's true that all he did was apologise for being rude.
There was a nice tribute to the outgoing Theresa May from Sir Keir, but that isn't such a headline grabber I suppose.
this is dawn Butler another Labour MP, are there no white people, or is she a racist.
