The Tories would be mad to bring in another unelected leader / Prime Minister, so probably. The two (three?) separate wings seem be trying to tear the party apart, much like Labour will if / when they form the next government.

A Tory spokesperson says The Tories thought that changing PM again was ridiculous But No 10's handling of recent events has been so  astonishingly bad under Sunak, that we need to make changes now to try and avoid hitting the iceberg and sinking. But it maybe too late as some of the Tory crewe have already started to lower the lifeboats.

the more intelligent tories have given up on trying to win this year's election and are looking instead to the election after that
