Before the Twin Towers Atrocity most men in the street had never heard of Osama Bin-Laden and were mystified to learn that he was "the most dangerous man in the world", "world's most wanted man", "criminal genius" or any of the other phrases dramatically describing him in the following years.
Al Quaeda as a group and Bin Laden as an individual are huge bogeyman with which to keep the American people in a state of easily managed panic, thus enabling all manners of Govt led atrocities to take place, such as the systematic erosion of our civil liberties, the invasion of a country that (surprise, surprise) has a lot of oil and the imprisonment and torture of individuals "deemed" to be a threat in Gauntanamo Bay ( none of them have actually been charged with anything).
It's interesting to note that George Bush desires to spread Democracy, when actually he doesn't live in one himself, he lives in a Republic.
Osama bin Laden will never be found because it doesn't serve their interest for him to be found.
Osama Bin Laden died around a year ago. He suffered from diabetes and kidney failure. Whilst he was immensely rich he could not stave off the ravages of time and chronic disease.
His last attributed public recordings showed a very sick man just clinging to life. I agree that US don't want it widely known that their number one bogey man is a myth, and likewise the AlQeda conspire to perpetuate the fiction for equally political reasons viz. control of the masses!
I hope he will be found. He will claim asylum and be given a nice council house in London for himself and his 6 wives.
I am sure Red Ken will also supply him with a 42" Plasma screen so he can watch al-jazeer anytime of the day. 600 a week in benefits and a Nissan estate car with a box of tissues on the parcel shelf. And in two years time he will be nade British.
Good luck to him.
