Plus this killing sounds like its been taken seriously - the word murder is just a word after all and manslaughter can carry a life sentence and is a very serious crime!
Looking at their mug shot's on the news tonight. I think they should be locked up and the key thrown away.
They are three of the most dodgy fu****'s I have ever seen.
And instead of spending the money on three donner kebab's (with extra chilli sauce) they would have been wiser to have popped into the local vision express, prior to their photo shoot for national tv.
I'm just surprised we haven't had calls from the hand wringers on this site to provide them with empathy and to try to understand why they did it, and perhaps arrange for them to work in an old people's home as opposed to prison in order to have some validation (not to punish them, you understand, as that conjures negative images, and we can't have that now, can we).
Etc...
There are plenty of those who believe it is the role of the judiciary to carry out the rule of law, and are against the 'let's string 'em up' mentality of mob rule, but I suppose that's the same thing in your eyes?
To clarify;
- Am vehemently against the death penalty.
- I don't agree with torture.
- I hate the 'pack' mentality.
- I have never read the Daily Mail in my life.
However, I am concerned about the 'soft' sentencing we occassionally see in this country. Following on from an earlier question (concerning the rape of a child) if somebody is this inherently evil to commit this most heinous of crime, why can't we lock them up and throw away the key as opposed to, as the liberal 'elite' would rather, try and rehabilitate them - these people do not warrant our help.
And if anybody comes out with that old chestnut that 'this makes us as bad as them' - just about the most feeble argument I think I have ever heard - I think I'm going to scream.
I like to think of myself as small 'c' conservative.
Perfect logic cherry bomb - "they look a bit dodgy in their mugshots so they must be guilty!"
Brilliant! You should be a detective with your powers of deduction. God help any one who takes a bad mug shot, eh? (i.e most people!) And what has their eyesight go to do with it?
However, I do think these guys are scum and deserve full sentences, not because of their faces but because they actually did commit this crime and don't appear to care
for them to claim they didn't intend to kill her is laughable - did they think they could just beat their own nan up, steal from her and that she would say nothing and forgive them? in order for them to get away with this crime they had to kill her - clearly very stupid, uneducated cretins.
