Oh dear ....

Highly suspicious.

Didn't Private Eye get hold of this, then ?

Goodness really scraping the bottom of the barrel now in trying to discredit SKS

No trying needed.  He does it all by himself.

1103, if you say so.

Do you seriously think he would give a terrority away to keep a friend happy.

If you think that then you need to seek help.

DDIL : //Goodness really scraping the bottom of the barrel now in trying to discredit SKS//

You are being ironic aren't you?

I thought the bestest friend was.... Lord Alli - kissing cousins and all that

"There was national outrage this morning at the news that Sir Keir’s Labour has decided to cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius "

was there??? i can't say i noticed much outrage. perhaps spectator readers live in a bit of a bubble.

Phillippe sands sounds like he is more knowledgeable on the issue than most other people could claim to be... i am no fan of starmer but i really don't care about this.

DDIL, it would benefit you to attempt to understand what's written before responding.   I said Starmer discredits himself - and that's all I said.

Naomi and your opinion really doesn't matter to me.

It matters enough for you to respond - twice.

hands up how many of us cared about who owned the Chagos islands before this week? i certainly didn't... i still don't and i doubt very much that many of you did either!

You don't seem to notice a lot of things ! That news is spread around everwhere since it broke yesterday, Here's a leading article from this morning's Times;

'Keir Starmer gave up Chagos Islands despite private US warnings.'

the US only give a *** because they have a base there... one which they forced us to deport the island's inhabitants in order to create (and we said, "yes master"). that base is still there. the brits were acting as nothing more than butlers and custodians for an american base. who cares?

i am aware that it was a news story khandro lol but being published in the times does not mean there was "national outrage"!!

did you notice much outrage from your vantage point in... er... germany? 🤣

It isn't about keeping someone happy, it's about the advice given by the chosen advisors. That they may not have a neutral agenda. And an unaware individual may not recognise that.

PS. the negotiations started under Liz Truss and SKS has just finished it.

The world is a volatile place.  We shouldn't be ceding any territory - to anyone.

A lot of water under the bridge since Truss and on top of that why do you think it was taking all that time and the Sir 2TK suddenly 'sorts it'?

Its easy to conclude negotiations when you give in to the other side, just like he did with the Union buddies.

This stinks and is yet another blot for Starmer, granny harmer.

And now the fllod gates will open.  Falklands, Gibrralter and other places.
