As I understand it, there's no invasion, merely an advance into the demilitarised zone. Plus the strikes of course; but no one with any sense is going to trust the terrorist Muslim rebels, some of whom have already been caught on camera threatening to take out Israel.

the extent to which israel has actually invaded syria is disputed. the israeli government (which lies constantly) says it has done nothing more than occupy the demilitarized zone and carry out airstrikes... syrian security services (also prone to lying) claim that they have gone much further than that and are close to damascus.
