If you`re so much better than the Welsh, why do English people move to Wales, & can`t wait to do so? Could it be because they prefer the community spirit? The peace? Or could it be to get away from people like you? As for the Welsh language. More & more people are learning it everyday, especially English people who want to be part of the community.

The Welsh education authority have made Welsh compulsory in schools, which a lot of English speaking families are very pleased about. If you chose to live in a country where their own language was mostly spoken, you would be want to learn that language to be able to coverse with others. There are Welsh interpreters at The Hauge, should they be requested, the same as they have interpreters in other languages. As for Wales being an "antiquated dump", guess what , we do have running water, & electiricity. Oh & we can read. Yes, there probably are people with ruddy faces, but that`s what you get when you work outside in what we have plenty of FRESH AIR. The sweaty backs, yes probably, bought on by WORK.

I notice your reference to Welsh singers. Charlotte Church does sing in Welsh. The Sterophonics have done. The others I can not comment on. You don`t mention Katherine Jenkins, Bryn Terfel, Aled Jones, Catatonia, Cerys Mathews. Your "scientific based facts", who was the scientist ? I & many others would be most interested to read their findings. Could you possible give me the name of this scientist ?
