Is it no hand luggage with all airports

If no hand luggage is now allowed on airlines I foresee all male travellers rushing to Milletts to buy those very convenient gilet waistcoat things which have hundreds of pockets which Bill Oddie is so fond of wearing on Springwatch.

Or do clothes with lots of pockets also count as "hand baggage"?

Smart idea, but I'm sure I read somewhere you're pockets are to be empty!
Hmm, visions of lines of guys standing trying to empty all those pockets, and we thought the queues just now were bad!

At least it will prevent those idiots who try and ram "hand luggage" which is usually larger than my suitcase into overhead compartments
