There may be as minority of white supremacist nutjobs who try to instigate such things, but on the whole they fail miserably as British people, black and white, are far too sophisticated to fall for the minority clap trap they spout.
Most British peple of all ethnicities love Britain, they see things wrong with it, and they sometimes have trouble reconciling the way they feel about changes taking place, but on the whole, British people are very savvy and know race riots will only cause division, destruction and ultimately harm everyone within our communities.

I certainly hope not. The majority of British born people and immigrants, just want to get on with their lives. After all,we all live on the same planet, and at the time being we have nowhere else to go,so we may may as well learn live together. Unfortunately,I fear that there are pockets of extremists on both sides, who would use the recent events of racial hatred to stir up trouble and perhaps spark of a riot.
I just hope I am wrong.

Unless the Islamic Clerics who practice Sharia Law tone themselves down, start appreciating the country they are living in, stop finding offence in almost everything thats said, then I believe race riots will happen.
This will then be the fault of this goverment, for not being tough from the start.
The main problem will be, you generally can't tell a muslim from a non Muslim, and even if you could, just by looking, you can't tell a moderate from a fanatic.

After reading your reply Lonnie - I thought I'd post this link to a thread I posted on Films & TV earlier.
I wonder whether you or anyone else has seen this documentary film yet - it's quite disturbing:

Lonnie (or anyone else who's interested) - If you could get hold of a copy of the DVD & watch the whole documentary film closely, from beginning to end.......you'll see what I mean!
I say documentary film because that is what it is - it's not a fairy tale!
I fear for the future of our children & grandchildren.

I'll certainly watch the film, but just because it's a documentary does not mean it's unbiased or anything in it is ever actually going to happen. You can make a biased documentary as easily as you can make an even handed one, and should anyone have the money and facilities at their disposal then they can make what they like, which brings me to the credentials of the film maker. Apart from a bit of tat in South Africa of no real relevance, he's only ever made two things, this and something similar, which begs the question, who funded it? Documentaries are not cheap to film or research and they are notoriously unpopular to pitch for funding, so where did this unknown film maker get his money from and why?
smudge, i'll certainly watch the film,
nox, you make some fair points, as you normally do, its good on these type of posts to have a voice of reason, however, from my observations, its not the ordinary Muslims that are causing the trouble, as i've already said, its the clerics of Sharia law, its them that are causing all the trouble, On that bit of Film on smudges post, the rabble rousers were all Sharia.
