There are many more if you use google search. Best of luck.
There is a blatent lie in the first line of the Forum on Europe website. It states the EU has been responsible for preventing war in Europe.

Actually, NATO has been responsible for preventing war in Europe because no aggressor would wish to take on the United States.
That is a pointless question because there is no way that we can get out of Europe, or have any choice in the matter, without waiting for hundreds of millions of years of continental drift and geological change.
Having looked closer at the Forum on Europe site, I have come to the conclusion that it has been written by a four-year old both in terms of content and grammar.
Delboy posted one in that very thread

Hammerhead seems to forget that France has been at the centre of most European wars for many hundreds of years and yet was not even a member of NATO until recently.

I can always respect somebody's opinion but when they call oppsing opinions lies they simply show themselves up.

Incidently you may find this website of "euro-myths" amusing

Bernardo....
When you say WE , don`t think I want to leave Europe, In a past link of mine you stated that I should not use the word WE as I shouldn`t assume that you had to be involved. Now you use it in the same context. tut tut.
Question Author
Bernardo, why you think my question is pointless is strange. Why shouldn't I wish to know the benefits past. present and future of being in Europe?
Bustergutt:
You have obviously mis-read my answer. When I wrote "there is no way that we can get out of Europe, or have any choice in the matter, without waiting for hundreds of millions of years of continental drift and geological change", I was merely stating a fact. I was not assuming any agreement to any opinion by any other people. Nor was I even expressing an opinion. I was merely stating, as a fact, that it is geologically impossible for the UK to get out of Europe. That is a fact, not an opinion.

Le Chat:
It is meaningless to talk about "the benefits of being in" Europe (at any time), just as it is meaningless to talk about the "benefits of being in" Antarctica or Africa. Such a concept would imply that there is some sort of choice in the matter (one way or another), which there isn't.
bernardo
Try to pay attention, when we say ' get out of Europe ' everyone knows, except you apparently that we are of course referring to the act of removing ourselves from the EU, and not as you think, to somehow geologically remove ourselves from the continent of Europe.
Hope this as cleared it up for you?
anotheoldgit:

NO NO NO you were NOT talking about the EU. The questionner was SPECIFICALLY referring to Europe, NOT the EU. I was answering the question and I was being logical. If somebody wants to ask a question about the EU, then that will be a completely different question.

I am extremely intelligent and brilliant and this is my 10,000th answer and I am already in a bad mood anyway because of the stupid changes and you are a stupid fool.
