Proceedings against the PM
The lawyer of the shrouded teacher has said that unless Tony Blair withdraws his comments on the incident, (he has supported the way in which the incident was handled) the teacher will bring injunction proceedings against the Prime Minister ! Only in Britain eh ?

The lawyer is just trying it on. This is an industrial tribunal not a court case. Blair is quite right (for once) in saying he will not be intimidated by this jumped-up little attention-seeking lawyer. I'm sure lawyers attempting to bully politicians happens all over the world not only in Britain as you suggest.
It seems like a clear-cut case to me. An employee refused to follow a reasonable instruction from their employer. They have, therefore, broken the terms of their contract and should be dismissed. Religion has nothing to do with it.
