Molly returning to Scotland

I read this morning that a court has ruled that Molly needs to return from her father in Pakistan to her mother in Scotland, upholding her mothers sole custody.

Do you think that she should be made to return, if it was allegedly her choice to live with her father in Pakistan?

after listening to her i think she is old enough and sensible enough to make up her own mind. the mother seems a bit vindictive to me whereas the father seems well loved and respected.
I don't know how old she is, but can't she please herself when she becomes 16 ?
Unfortunately she's 12

That may not seem a long time to us but when you're 12, 4 years is a third of your life.

That's a long time to be made live in Stornoway.

But it would probably be best if she was made to return to Scotland and a hearing quickly arranged there to sort out her future.

Remember she skipped off on the quiet with her father and that's not a good precident to be allowed to stand.

Nice to see the Pakistan and British authorities co-operating so well though isn't it? Especially considering the picture some people paint of Pakistan

She should be made to return otherwise anyone can flout an English made court ruling. That ruling was made and has been upheld for good reasons - some of which we wouldn't know about so let the father make the journey to her from now on like hundreds of other dads have to, It's obvious it will need to be supervised too. It has to be made clear that it's wrong to whisk her away in the night causing panic and wasting the police time.
According to an article i read in the paper yesterday, a child over the age of 13 can choose where to live so she should be able to over rule the ruling soon
Scotland and England have different legal systems. Is it not a Scottish court ruling?
Poor Molly.
The choice is Pakistan or Scotland.
Poor Molly.

Quite an easy choice actually.

Pakistan. They have the Shalimar Gardens, Scotland doesn't. Sorted.
Yes, NH, point taken. I'd forgotten the 'Shalimar
Factor'. I am on Molly's side, and only she knows what
she knows, Stay put, girlie, and if wild Scotswomen
come a'looking for you,run away.
