Ok, so what have Jade, Jackiey, Jo & Dani said that is racist?
In my opinion, they've not said anything racist whatsoever. Ignorant, stupid, misguided...maybe, but never racist. Yet Jermaine has described Jackiey as 'white trash' and no-one has batted an eyelid. All this classic Asian hysteria and over-reaction...where's the justification?

She looked absolutely awful before the face lift & I did feel genuinely sorry for her - but I'm afraid that although it might have improved her looks slightly, it hasn't changed what comes out of her mouth!
It's a pity Jade & her Mother can't pay for elocution lessons -they are after all, making millions & can afford to!
No, I'm not being a snob - I'm an ordinary Ex-Essex girl.

smudge I feel that elocution lessons for Jade and her mother (and what about Jade's children?) would just be papering over the cracks. They need to be taught respect for others, and one can see that this is lacking
in many younger folk in Britian these days. Their brains need educating, but obviously it's way too late for them. Like yourself I come from a large family, we were allowed to express our opinions, but we had to do it respectlfully and to accept that not everyone thinks the same as we. Jade is basically a bully, I remember her in the Celebrity show on Channel 5 where she had it in for Rick Waller, oh she was awful.

craigiep - yep!
Simple as that...you can take the mickey out of someone and slag them off without resorting to bullying. What I wrote (actually copied from flip flop) isn't bullying, because we aren't in the Big Brother house.
You'll be surprised, but I actually agreed with the sentiments of your original post (what have they said which is racist), but my God surely you agree now, that what they've said is supremely racist!!!
Also, here's another thing - do you remember that huge fight in Big Brother a couple of years back when the police were called in? It was between a white girl and a black guy. They were able to hurl abuse at each other, without either one turning it in a racist incident...make yer think dunnit?

There was a letter to the Independent today which summed it up quite well....the abuse may probably have been sparked by nothing more than class jealousy.
Shilpa is ridiculously beautiful, educated and talented, and the three who have been bullying her...well, let's just say, they're not any of those.
Perhaps, their bullying is down to jealousy, and the only thing they can pick on to exclude her, is her race?
I dunno...however prior to going out on Friday, I have ten mates coming round to watch Jade's eviction.
...it'll be more fun than Eurovision.

Whether this situation is racist or not, I am just ashamed and embarassed to be of the same nationality as Jade, her mother, that ignorant WAG (whatever her name is) and the minor pop star (whatever her name is).
Some have said that this will be the end of Jade but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't increase her "celebrity" status.

I'm absolutely proud at the way that the vast majority have reacted...they're rightly disgusted by the behaviour they're seeing.
It just goes to show how far we've come in the past 30 odd years. I've travelled all around Europe and more than any other country I've been to, educated people here, simply won't tolerate that kind of behaviour any more.

Neti - you're quite right, elocution lessons for them would be papering over the cracks - although it was meant as tongue in cheek of course!
I also couldn't believe how Jade's children, one of them sucking on a bottle complete with teet, at an age he could have been drinking out of a cup, had to listen to the way their Grandmother was talking!
David - Me too & as I said earlier, although I haven't watched the programme - after what I've read, I would hang my head in shame at being associated with Jade, her Mother, or any other foul mouthed person!
I thank the Lord my Mum & Dad taught all of us 10 children, love, kindness & most of all to have respect for ourselves & for others!
I might just tune in tonight to see what happens - but then again, I'd be giving in, only to make Channel 4 richer - so p'raps not!

"My point goes totally against PC - it seems we're not free to say what we think about Asians."
Surely you would'nt WANT to say any of the things that have been trotted out on that show???
I mean, would you really go up to an Asian colleague at work and tell them to 'f**k off back to their own country'???
Would you call an Asian woman a four letter word beginning with the letter 'c'?
Would you not want to eat her food because you 'don't know where her hands have been'?
Why would you even want to think those things let alone SAY them???

craigiep...beg your pardon.
Yes - I would totally write that about a stupid ugly, ill educated Asian woman, but to be honest...the only Asian women I've ever seen on telly are a) extremely well educated and b) extremely dignified.
I used to work with a brilliantly funny Muslim bloke who used to take the mickey out of me for my Madonna fixation, and I used to take the mickey out of EVERYTHING about him - from his George Michael haircut, to his love of '3am Kebab Shop' music.
I think that I can be like that, because I'm so obviously non-prejudiced (or is it unprejudiced).
Anyway, yes - I know I could write or say extremely critical things about minorites because a) I am one, and b) I have the wit to be able to take the mickey and make it funny and c) What I give, I take.
I hope that clarifies it for you.
(That last sentence reads quite sarky - it's not meant to).
