Large US build up in the Gulf

The US has amassed its largest force in the Gulf since the invasion of Iraq. Blair has warned of a 'different phase' if negotiations to free the sailors fail.

Are the two things connected?

Is it just putting pressure on Iran?

Is the capture of the sailors the excuse the US has been waiting for some kind of strike?

Just coincidence?

idon't trust George Bush ! but put it this way the iranians have been saying that the uranium enrichment was for peaceful means, they then go and kidnap 15 british sailors!does that sound like someone you can trust with nuclear capabilities?
