You seem to find it fun patronising posts on here.
Any other 'NORMAL' human being would understand what I meant by pensioners & disabled people being given preferential treatment over & above murders/criminals.
Oh & if you re-read my other post, I never mentioned lynching or being beaten to death.
Get your facts right.

I can not be normal either - what is so virtuous about the murdering pensioner, the paedophile who is disabled? Just being old or disabled doesn't not endow the person with any desirable characteristics. Why should they have preferential treatment over the, for gods sake children - yes totally abhorrent that the children killed another child but what is this thread some kind of witch hunt. Should we not if we have not, have moved on from such primitive vengeance? Who on this post has a personal reason for wanting the children to have been hung, drawn or quartered or whatever your personal preference is - none probably, its more like the audience at public hangings, those in this country who used to go to them as a family day out - Yuk!
Eh? What are you on about. Where have I mentioned about murderous pensioners or murderous disabled people being giving preferentail treament over other murders???
I said nothing of the sort!
I'll start again:
This question was asking why thousands of 's are being spent on protecting the identities of the killers of little Jamie Bulger.
My reply meant that the money being spent on people of this ilk, would be better spent on ORDINARY DESERVING PENSIONERS &/or DISABLED people out in the community. You know, the ones who have worked hard all their lives, but are now living on a mere pittance.
All murders, rapists, muggers, etc., including who you THOUGHT I meant, shouldn't be given prefential treatment.
Does that make it clearer for you?

Justice is not always done.
How about these two scum below.
Beat a man up (trainee paramedic) so badly he had to have 4 months off work.
The judge says he wont jail them as they will lose their jobs !!!!
I am sorry, but they should have thought of that while they were giving the guy his kicking.
They got community service.

I have just read properly Theland's post about the treatment of these children has not served as a deterrent. I thought gosh the reason that I, my friends and most of the children I knew didn't kill other children was because of some deterrent imposed by the judicial system. I think not, surely no 10 year old is going to stop and reflect upon their murderous intention and decide given the likely outcome - secure unit which freedom at a later stage versus permanent incarceration - on balance I will go on and kill this child.
Some how I am sure there are many explanations for why some children/adults cross over the threshold and go on to kill I think the processes are somewhat more complex

Smudge I had worked out you meant the deserving rather than the un deserving - this was the same thoughts that shaped the welfare system in the Victorian period. Those truly deserving should be given the poor relief, those ******** types who spent it on liqour and women should not be given any including a place in the workhouse. Its just that some people have a view on welfare that it needs to be universal so that all are eligible even if some do exploit the 'largesse ie dole scoungers' and the justice system is based not just on revenge. Otherwise if we could punish those who transgressed our own deontic logic/moral code the repercussions could be quite nasty ie death to all meat eaters, death to any one who cuts me up when I am drivng, death to anyone who does not agree with me on AB, death to my mother in law. Rather than this bloody mayhem, we have a consenus on what is appropriate sanctions/punishment to the actions that the society has agree is a crime. This is called the judical system.
Apology accepted NJOK.
I didn't have to mention money in that particular post. Of course I meant the LAW ABIDING pensioners & disabled people in society.
Again, I wrote:
"It's such a same we can't PAY the same attention to the more DESERVING people in this word. Pensioners, disabled people, the list is endless".
If I'd have read that - I'd have understood what the poster meant by it, 'specially after reading my post before it.
