On our local news today there was a woman who threw a kitten up & down the stairs several times then shot it through the eye with an air rifle.It was all filmed on a mobile.It was shown on the news & my daughter saw it.Surely they could refrain from actually showing it?

Well I'm not saying I'd want to watch this either, but why shouldn't the news show it? It's after the watershed, and surely if your daughter watches the news on a regular basis then she sees other new stories equally as bad?

Thankfully the cat survived & is with new owners.The woman was banned from keeping animals for ten years.Surely this kind of cruelty should carry a lifetime ban.

it's TV, so they like footage. Did they really show the whole thing? I wonder if it was really necessary; but without the footage they probably wouldn't have used the story at all.

I know you cant stop an evil witch chucking a kitten up and down the stairs but air rifles should be banned.

Just this week for fox cubs were shot near my town and killed with an air rifle and many of you will already know that my cat was pinned down and shot repeatedly with an air rifle, the worst being 2 execution style shots at point blank range to her head between her eyes, makes me sick.

Dont know who did it? : ( Well Im pretty sure I know but cant prove it. Unfortunately there have been a lot of missing cat pics up around the area. I think Giz got lucky believe it or not.

Poor kitten,what a sick and twisted person would do such a thing,hope someone does the same to her,glad she is ok .
