so the portugese police say that they may now beliveve that the little girl may now be dead.if they had handled the case better in the first place maybe she wouldnt.or if the parents had not left her alone maybe she wouldnt what a mess and what a waste of a young life if she is no longer with us.all involved should hang their heads in shame,and whoever is responsible should be hung.i know this post has been on here many times but someone should be accountable.i hope they are wrong and she is safe somewhere.

Some of these questions need answering I think.

Why did feel they didnt need a babysitter?

How far away were they really from the appartment? 50yards, 100yards,150yards??????????????????????

Why do their stories not tie up?

Why did they not lock the door?

Why did Kate return to the tapas bar when she �discovered Maddie missing� ?

Why did Kate leave the twins again after she discovered Maddie missing and why did she not scream for Maddie and for help????????
(if they were only 50 yards away why not?)

Why did they not call the police immediately on finding Maddie missing?
I have read it was nearly 2 hours before police were called!

Why are they(particularly Gerry) going around the world on this Crusade and not out there physically looking for their daughter?

Why do they keep on about how long its taken for Kate to do her daily run up the hill?

If they could see the appartment , why didnt anyone see anything?

Why was this limited company set up almost immediately after Maddie went missing?????

Why can�t Gerry keep still for more than 2 minutes?

Why did Gerry update his �friends reunited site within about 2 weeks of the �abduction�???? Its got to be the last thing on his mind, surely???

Why do the not spend some of the �company money whoops I mean fund on hiring a team of private detectives to find Maddie???????????????

Why do so many photos in the news show the mccanns smiling and laughing?????????????

Why does Gerry relate being in a tapas bar like being at the end of their garden????

When is this guy going to start showing some emotion for the loss of his daughter?????

Gena other holidaymakers at the same site, said they saw the "Friend, who saw a man with a bundle" but they did not see the man or the bundle themselves and they were in the same place at the same time.. There's an awful lot of strange goings on in this mystery

And why did mrs mccann shout "they've taken her"instead of "Where maddie,She gone, she's not in her bed - help me to find her!"

in 1983 one sunday morning my husband and 2 year old son walked to the local shop through the underpass and on the neighbhouring estate. he cam back after a short while and asked was the boy with me!!!! He said he had been in the small shop and my son must have walked out, without being spotted, my husband hoped he had come home, he hadn't, I rang the police, my sister, my parents and my brother. the police responded immediately and my parents and family were there within 10 minutes. I stayed at the house. 30 minutes later a police dog van pulled up with my son in the passenger seat. he had walked the wronmg way and the policeman found him playing with other children under a subway. he had recognised him from the description , and called his name out. It was the worst 40 minutes I ever could imagine, but I had done everything I could have done. his father was never allowed to take the kids anywhere on his own after that. If I had waited an hour, god knows what would have happened.

Apparently the parents were out for the quiz, which they thought they would win, so not just out for dinner. They window of maddie's room was round the back and out of sight. Gerry evn says himself that when he checked at 9pm(!) he noticed something odd about the doors,(being half open or something) AND HE STILL LEFT THE CHILDREN ALONE!!!! I am flabbergasted the more I hear about htis couple.

I've been I think pretty open minded about this all...and hadn't been able to make my mind up if i personally thought she was dead or alive (though obviously i very much want herr to be alive....she's an innocent little kid!!) But just Friday I saw an interview with the parents where Mrs was asked if Madeline was watching what would she say to her...Mrs response was unmoving and referred to Madeline in the 3rd person...Instead of directly speaking to Maddie. It did strike me as odd! Or am I being harsh...maybe she is on tranquilisers or somehting and thats why she appears unemotional...?
