Why would a VAT inspector know anything about Council Tax?

Suspect that it is false.

another bun vicar!!!
nun here.
Hmmm, this is true.
It is well known to be happening in my town and has been for years.
Also, i dont know if you already knew, but many asians now are buying houses, but lending money from the mosques. This means they get interest free loans as they dont have to pay any interest due to the religious nature.
Its not just muslims though, its any place of worship that doesnt pay interest.

As long as fundamentalism is a requirement and sectarian violence is an outcome after our seditious ceremonies. Who do we get to kill?
I've got a list if that's any help Whippety?
FFS, MrBen, there may well be an issue with people avoiding Council Tax, but I'm reasonably certain that people are free to finance the payment for their homes without paying interest if they're able.
you need to convert, MrBen. They could extend an interest-free loan to a non-believer, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Interesting how it's only Muslims who were mentioned in the conversation. Anyone can apply to have a building registered as a place of worship under the 1855 Places of Worship Registration Act. The requirement of having ten worshippers is wrong. Twenty separate householders need to confirm they want the building to be used for marriages

There is no guarantee that an application will be accepted because planning permission may be required due to chane of use. Also, various sites say these places of worship MAY be entilted to a reduction in Council Tax. .

MrBen5 what is wrong with folk receiving interest free loans to buy a house?
