What do you think about the child abuser who walked free from court today?
Was the magistrate a JW as well?
How does this sort of thing happen.

Do magistrates live on the same planet as us mortals? It left me fuming.

Just another reason why crimes are on the increase: punishments are not harsh enough. In this case, it's virtually non-existent. We all know this, the PTB choose to ignore it.
Im furious too, I just posted a question in LAW section because of it. I do not understand how he could be free and castration for these people just wouldnt be enough. Even criminals who do go to prison get so many 'rights' its a disgrace.
I am fuming too.

But this was no magistrate - it was a crown court judge.

Why the hell would you assume he was treated differently due to his religion?
Mason?
Yes the mason option seems to be the best reason why a judge would let a dirty filthy nonce walk free.

This judge should be made to share a cell with this animal once the cps refer it back and the nonce gets the correct sentence, lets say 15 years would be a starting point.

Sorry WHICKERMAN if you were offended by the religion aspect of my posting. Several years ago I worked for a government department and saw preferences being given to Jehovah Witnesses by a member of my staff who was a Jehovah Witness.

Its not unusual in religion, read FENDER 62 posting re Catholicism which is only now coming out into the open. You scratch my back etc. etc. just to keep it quiet to avoid any embarrassment.

Thanks Ethel. I did realise it was a crown court judge but I was "a bit up tight" when posting the question. Possibly a magistrate might make mistakes but when it comes to a high court judge making this decision where do we poor mortals stand?

He said sorry
