yeah she's said to have smoked 10 joints a day every day anyway - so what on earth was mum of ellie thinking when she left her with gran??? i wouldn't have even left the dog with her, never mind a toddler. but then again, it's a way of life for some people....they don't know any better.

Apparently her {gran} family had no issue with her looking after the little girl as she had been doing joints/wine on a daily basis for years, so they thought she was capable of looking after her.

I've been watching this case on the news Ste..... I'm sorry but what a total waste of space of a woman...she has children herself....the protection of her grandchild should have been utmost....so she heard the dog whinning because of the fireworks..Nah it had gone for another member of her family before and she (the gran) had told her son to get rid of the dog....he didn't...She knew it was a danger.....but did nothing.....too late now thought isn't it....her poor grandchild paid the price......Hope those 25 years of smoking weed was worth it......grrrr

Although, she was obviously a tw@t in the first place. I dont think after a bottle of vodka and 2 joints ( i couldnt smoke 10) I would ever let a pitbull in with my kids.

going off on a tangent a bit here - but while this a$$ hole government continues to make it easy not to work and live on benefits, and to get away with crimes as the gaols are full, it's going to continue - must to my dismay. to use one of my old grandad's phrases "throw them all on an island to rot together".

Id already answered that one. I wouldn't smoke pot or drink with my kids around,. After a few joints or a couple of bottles wine I wouldn't have them back till the following evening.
