A jewish couple or Sikh couple or Muslim couple to name but a few would have also refused to sign that paper. It would have been against their religious beliefs. Would you all have been anti these religions? I do not think so! Is it just because it is a Christian family. Ar you all saying that Christians must drop their beliefs but not Muslims, sikhs or jews?
I agree Vic. My values are based on my own moral code, not on any organised religious viewpoint. I cannot see any reason to exempt anybody from anything on the grounds of race, religion or sexual orientation - what matters is that children are brought up in a home with people who are morally sound. I personally would rather foster my children out to a gay couple than to a person who does not understand or respect that fact.
