Sweep, I don't believe my posts sensationalise either. You mention fairness, but from my observations those who insist on the implementation of political correctness and human rights are rarely fair to society as a whole. The weak and vulnerable do need to be protected - I would be the first to say that - and as you say, pursued properly, neither is bad, but, in general, neither appear to be pursued properly, and very often it is not the weak or the vulnerable who benefit from political correctness or human rights - it's people who damage the struggle for integration, it's people who choose to lead a life of crime, and it's people who undermine the security of this country - and who ought, if 'fairness' was really the aim, to feel the full weight of the law. I know the meaning of both terms - it's just a pity that those who advocate blanket political correctness and blanket human rights at the expense of the rights of law-abiding people - and that includes hard-working immigrants - to live in peace and security in this country, don't appear to.
