Is the halo slipping from the "Non addictive", "Harmless" fluffy Bunny wonder drug?
A prize for the first person to try and change the subject to booze!

Oh come all you children
Don't grab that scabby hand
It belongs to Mr. Sniff and Tell
It belongs to the candyman
Don't ***** your little bodies
Tthe worms of paradise
Like Everest it's fatal
Its peaks are cold as ice
They're riding on the subways
They're riding on the streets
They'll ride you down to the gutters
They'll ride you off your feet
Gonna hit Crack City
Hit Crack City
P!s on the icon monsters
Whose guitars bequeath you pain
They'll face you down to their level
With their addictions and their fast lanes
Corrupt with shaky visions
And crack and coke and alcohol
They're just a bunch of ********
With buttholes for their brains
You can't keep on riding
The pain you know so well
They'll ride you down to the gutter
They'll ride you down to hell
And you the master dealer
May death be on your brow
May razors slash your mainline
I'm calling you out right now
May all your vilest nightmares
Consume your shrunken head
May the ho-ho-hoounds of paranoia
Dance upon your stinking bed
Don't look at me you f uckhead
This nation's turning blue
Its stink it fouls the highways
Its filth it sticks like glue
Oh look Mr B wants them dead aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crack heads, smackheads, dopeheads all the bloody same to me.
All are losers in life.
All have mental illness.
All tell everybody that they do drugs as if the moral and normal world will go "My oh my you are so wonderful you do drugs. So cool!"
All are weak
All smell of puss.
Drugs are drugs are drugs.

How would your career have been different without cocaine?

I simply have no idea. I was fairly drug-free right up to seventy . . . four. Ha! Which is not very long, is it? [Laughs] Strangely enough, all the techniques and the things I was trying to do, I got interested in before I started doing drugs. So its conceivable that Id try a lot of the same techniques. What the outcome would have been, I dont know. Maybe I would never have touched the darkest corners in quite the same way. Although I know that I can, and do, write fairly strange music without the aid of drugs.
Just for you Wardy.

Sorry, I can't view youtubes but I know he did ask for help.
All I'm saying is that under what you previously stated the man would have to be put down which would have deprived you of something you enjoy. I'm just asking that you see the flip side of the coin, not everything is as black and white as you think it is.
Another example... I am pretty much in 100% agreement with everything paulos said but I could still see a certain logic in 123's argument too. It's about perspective.
And getting this thread back on track... cannibis use is largely about perspective too. As is the use of any drug legalised or otherwise. If you are not in a decent mental state to begin with then any kind of addiction is just waiting round the corner for you. No drug is harmless or fluffy but in moderation, with perspective, drugs (again, legal and illegal) can have positive benefits.
Most of us like the Rolling Stones afterall yes? Hendrix? The Beatles? To quote Mr Hicks again,
'... real fkucing high....'

Well if you do smoke normally you might not like the taste so maybe the cookie. Possibly with someone who has done it before so can keep an eye on you and assure you about whether what you're feeling is normal or whether there is cause for concern.
All in keeping with responsible use and all. Plus no point in learning a lesson without a guide now is there?
Alternatively, read the book paulos recommended. Might be better than experiencing something you so fundamentaly disagree with?

Loose: "Cannabis is the best natural expectorant to clkear the lungs of smog, dust and the phlegm associated with toobacco use. Marijuana smoke effectively dilates the airways of the lungs, the bronchi, opening them to allow more oxygen to the lungs. It ios also the best naturaldilator of the tiny airways of the lungs, the bronchial tubes" Studies in Jamaica and Costa Rica have indicated people who smoke tobacco will usually l;ive longer if they smoke marijuana moderately
Wardy that's wrong... why bring paulos's mother in to what has been for the most a fairly interesting and plesant debate between people with strong opposing views? Even when we were debating at odds you didn't bring anything personal in to it, there's just no need.
Especially as paulos for the most part has been argueing in a fairly clear way for his own beliefs. And indeed mine since that's where my own sympathies lie).(
