I live subtitling is done by voice recognition software on computers. Unfortunately, it is not 100% accurate.

No real person could subtitle that quickly. When a film is properly subtitle by a human, it can take a couple of days.

Sky News seem to have pioneered the live subtitling on its channel. The results are often incomprehensible, puzzling, and occasionally funny.
