Its brilliant news that Shannon has been found alive and well.

I really can't believe some of the comments aimed at Shannons mum. I know someone who has 6 kids by 6 different dads. Everyone of those kids is loved and well looked after.

I quite agree piki. Its probably not most people's ideal familty set up but people making judgements like that is offensive in my opinion.

The family do seem to be a bit pikey. I think the mother lives on benefits and has 7 children and a toyboy, seems there may have been some kind of feud with other family members.

The mother was quoted as saying she thinks the kidnapper is known to the family and took Shannon to "get back at her".

Have to agree with Velvetee on this one. I hear what you're saying Pix, but a part of me did think "Good God....7 kids by many men???" when the news story first broke. Couple that with the fact that the girl seemed unhappy at home and that she was allowed to roam to and from school on her own at 9 doesn't paint a very good picture of her homelife.

aww I wasnt saying I thought having that many kids by different dads was nothing out of the ordinary. I too thought omg when I heard it, same with my mate, I've known her years and couldn't believe it when she kept having babies.

The posts I was on about said 'ANY woman who has that many kids by different dads must be hiding something' That simply isnt true. The other one was something about who would want to have sex with her 5 times never mind 7 was beyond them or something. That was just unfair.

Finding a young child after such a long period of absence nowadays . Is rare.More so In a healthy state never mind alive..
God only knows whats in the childs head after this period of time.
The 39 year old Needs to explaine himself Obviously.
What is it all about No doubt we Will find out.

First it was Step father , Then we hear its grand parents but now its a 39Yr old Loaner who is related to the Step Father??? .
