There seems to be no comment from the local council, should they need planning permission? Since it would appear that the property is being used for other purposes than just a private dwelling.

I agree with the one law remark. There is no law oneeye but its seems that there are things that we cannot do, but the minority, soon to be majority, in this country are permitted to do anything they wish, if they scream loud enough.
What, so Christian prayer groups are outlawed? When have the Hindu's screamed and shouted? Most Hindus have integrated well into this country, but it seems that some posters think that they are now to be tarred with the same brush as Muslims.
Maybe I should go and get a Kosher chicken blessed in a Mosque!

Oneeye are you actually living in this country? Do you not see what is occurring around you?
I was talking about Muslims, not Hindus. I am aware that the story is about Hindus, but I am sidestepping and discussing how certain groups in this country are permitted to pretty much do what they want, where as we are not.
Its people like you that are just selectively blind to this things going on and allow this to happen in this country. That is my opinion.

You seem to know less about Christianity than you do about Islam. In each of the countries you mention, there are christain worshipers and they have built churches.
Christians make up 0.3% of populationin Iran. There are 73 registered churches.
Here is a picture of Vank cathedral in Iran
Christians make up 2.1% of **** stan's population (approximately 1,000,000 people).
Here is Holy Trinity Cathedral in Karachi, Pakistan
Christians make up 2% of Iraq's population (approximately 650,000 people.

spaced - yes I do live in this country, and I very much enjoy it.
Do I see what is going on - yes. I see people like you who jump onto a story about Hindus and turn it into a story about Muslims and how this country is going to the dogs.
You then go on to state that British people can't do what they want (and I am presuming you are talking about meeting at people's house since this is again the topic of debate).
Maybe you can show me where White British Christian people (and I suspect that the people mentioned in the article are British citizens anyway), have been stopped from meeting at somebody's house.

my ideas? you think a Iraq is ACTUALLY going practice what you have just staed fay? Where did you get this claptrap from?
Wow, they recognise "some" Christian Holidays. Im just so happy they recognise some.
Give me a break. Do you not agree that this country has worsened, partially due to these sort of problems, if you dont then you need to go to spec savers and stop reading the Sun.
Oneye, I think you need to read my post again, I didnt say that Christians were not allowed to preach here. Imagine the setting if you will. A house in Iraq, many White Christian People congregating in a house to preach about God....nah I dont think so.

For goodness sake will you all stop getting ur pants/loin cloths in a bunch????!!!!
The poster i am sure was only pointing this out,out of interest for you guys to see and not start a whole bloomin war of words off.
However, this story did remind me of something that happened close to where my dad lived when he was growing up.
They had close by them an indian family, new to the country and its laws. One morning people awoke to the smell of burning not ordinary burning but a burning meat smell. Any way the police are called to investigate and they find that the family had started to cremate granny who had died the day before. Now i would prefer to live next to a shrine rather than a crematorium, especially with its good karma going around.

No you didn't but that is what you implied.
You said: There is no law oneeye but its seems that there are things that we cannot do, but the minority, soon to be majority, in this country are permitted to do anything they wish, if they scream loud enough.
The implication there (unless I am completely misreading it) is that you agree with the erroneous statement made earlier about "one rule for them, one rule for us".
This question has completely been about the laws in this country (and if you want the laws in India where the majority of Hindus come from).
So maybe you can explain how there is one rule for them and one rule for us?
I live in this country and can influence laws and issues in this country. Why do you keep comparing us to Iraq? We have no say in the politics of that country. Do you want us to have the same attitudes as foreign governments? If so, maybe you should move there.

On the basis of his previous anti immigrant posts and the question "would you like their house next door to you", I suspect that AOG was not just pointing it out.
