Depends on the turnout. If he achieves 10,000 votes he would be doing well. So when he is re-elected his voice will count less as he will not be able to sit on the opposition front bench and bring the government to order. DC must be hiding his head in embarrassment. And to think he could have been the next Prime Minister. They should do a sanity check on these people in power!
Not so, I was just making the point since you had inferred that David Davis was only a man of principle, because he held a safe Tory seat.
Therefore I responded by asking you that, could you say for certain there were still some safe Labour seats, (seeing that Labour is the party in power at the moment).
