what happened to their guinea pigs??

theyll be hard pushed to find remains of the family's bodies in that rubble in a hurry
Question Author
henry are you a hitman?
If they were executed why did the so called executioners bother to board up the doors and windows etc? Surely they would shoot the family and then just make their getaway??? It is more likely(in my opinion) that in an altered state of mind the husband has flipped, shot his animals and family and then boarded up doors and windows and then set fire to the house to prevent anyone getting hold of the assests he has worked hard to accumulate, then shot himself.
Question Author
because they needed a fire to burn for a long time without anyone noticing and there to be no evidence
They would have to be the stupidest gangsters in the world to want to spend that much time setting things up..............either that or they watch too much C.S.I.
Less time spent at the scene committing a crime=less chance of being caught.

I'm massively intrigued by this story, the same questions have been rolling around the back of my mind for the past couple of days.

I actually said (out loud to nobody) "bet there's debts" when I first heard about it on GMTV Newshour yesterday morning.

It seems rather odd that the animals would be shot and set fire too - according to the BBC WWW, the animals were set alight rather than the buildings they were in (I'm not amused by the pics of their charred remains in the daily mail WWW either).

I was trying to work out if there was an alternative way out other than the blocked off with the horse box gate, anyone have pics I can scrutinise?

I don't think it was a suicide/murder. They were at a party and they were "relaxed and happy" according to other people that were there, would YOU be relaxed if you were planning this in a few hours time? I'd certainly be on edge if I was planning that.

Yes, he was in debt, but there were assets. All those cars and horses, not to mention the hangings on the wall in the pics of the inside of their home in the Daily Mail WWW, I daresay quite a few things that could be sold to at least make a start in paying off the debts.

His Company went into liquidation, but he was fighting it, wasn't he? He set up another Company "International" rather than "Limited". So a judge deemed him unscrupulous, that doesn't make him a killer and arsonist.

Hmmm, we shall see indeed!
He had a least 2m debts, a mortgaged house worth little of 1m.....

His debts far outweighed his assets

As is the case with most of us, but there is ALWAYS a way out, selling the assets you DO have is a fine start.

I'll stick to "it wasn't him" for the time being :o)

i heard he got very drunk lakitu
Someone who is going to kill himself and his family would be totaly Lakitu. He would have acted completely normal so as not to raise suspicion.I`m also intrigued by this story.
Believe it or not, he would have killed his animals because he cared about them.Sort of "all going together".
I only read that the front door was boarded up, not the windows as well.
That would take a lot of time considering the size of the house?
Yeah, I read he was drunk too.

If I am REALLY drunk, there is no way I would have the co-ordnation ability to be boardng up windows, shooting animals etc., would you?

I barely make it to the bed in a straight line LOL
Question Author
thats because you are tripping over that bloke you've bought back from pub lol
Horses cant talk,
It would have been easier to just open the barn door and set them free.
Hmmm, that's true HK.

I'm struggling to believe he would do that so soon after taking steps to get himself out of the financle pickle he was in. Why would anyone set up the business in a new name, but still apparently give up?

He's still got the benefit of my doubt for the moment :o)
LOL 4get!! Have you got webcams installed in my bedroom?? :-o
Agreed Rtaxron. Killing the animals was unneccesary (and the humans, but you know what I mean). There was 2 acres of land I believe, the animals would have run form the fire of their own accord.
