Why on Earth should this woman have been sacked for this. She was merely expressing a personal preference that she didn't want an asian driver. Fair enough in my opinion, as she was paying (presumably) and the customer is always right. The BBC should be ashamed of themselves.

So are you saying that it's okay for a person or company to treat someone differently purely because of their race?

And that if someone complains about it, the answer is, "It's my personal choice"?

That�s it. I have decided now that I am going to use my free speech right. I am going to say to my wife that being an Asian I do not want dinner from a white woman.

Would I be branded racist?

The one who uses free speech?

Or the one who sleep hungry?

Moral of the story�������..Well nothing really and this woman in question should get her daughter used to the people in turban etc. Otherwise she would not be able to take her to Southall.
