Are muslims to blame for the credit crunch? All their Indian and Chinese restaurants are thriving, but the profits are sent back to the Far East, causing the repossession of houses and cars in the UK. Should there be a limit on how much they are allowed to take back with them?

How many Chinese Muslims are there?

Why would Indians send money to the Far East?

How do you know that these businesses are thriving?
Someone said this once about the Jews. Hitler, he was called, if memory serves me correctly.
Come on SKS we are talking about a net deficit of 50% of GDP. thatv amounts to just over half TRILLION. The amount that vthese folk send back would be like pi..ing in the ocean.
Even if they are, soon there will be no patrons, Brown has seen to that as no one has excess income.

It is not their fault on iota. It is 100 % Browns, despite what he says. He squandered our money in the good times on pet labour projects. Anyone with 1/2 oz of sense has known this for years, its only you pinkos that refuse to believe it.
Listen to what Oneeyedvic said.

And stop eating from these restaurants. Go back to tasteless Fish & Chips
youngmafbog.......I will try you as I have asked this question on many threads and nobody has answered it.

Gordon Brown says that we are better placed than any other EU country, to ride out this recession.
The IMF says that we are the worst placed country in the EU to ride out the recession. Both CAN'T be right.

Surely there is an economist out there with no political bias, who could answer that question.
There are quite a lot of Muslims from China (they're called Uighurs) I don't think there is that many over here you would know as they are called Qingzhen retaurants and serve beef and mutton mainly it would probably be called something like Qingzhen Fan Dian (at a guess) in answer to the question how people spend the money they've EARNED is their own business.
We have longer working hours than France and more flexible working conditions than Germany these according to the Tories mean we can compete better in business, our complete lack of heavy industry is perhaps a problem for the creation of wealth.
Labour projects? I know they've rebuilt a lot of schools and improved the health service immensely.
No no everton123, they certainly have poured more money into the NHS, but there is little evidence that vthe service has improved..........not necesarily the fault of the government.
SK is right. They take our good, honest British livestock, KILL them (you couldn't make it up), and then defile their chopped up bodies with foreign ingredients before selling them back to us. Then they hide all the profits up their burkhas and take it all back on planes to their terrorist brethren. I've seen it all with my own eyes on the pages of the Daily Mail. Think about that next time you order a take away.
Supernick Did you see all that with your own eyes before or after you wrote that for Daily Mail?
K90 I think that was good old fashioned English sarcasm.
The health service HAS improved, I've been in and out of hospital since I was 9 months old (I'll give you the list if you like) but for instance yesterday I had to go for a biopsy it took 8 weeks from my first appointment at the doctors to get the test, I get the result in 4 weeks time ad the stitch out on Monday.
Everton 123..2months for a biopsy and then another month for the result and you call that a good service. Why 2months@why does one have to wait a month for a biopsy result.? That is only at best an average service which would not be tolerated in other civilized countries. Breast cancer survival, worst it the EU,except for Poland and Slovenia.
In 2005 National Patient Safety Agency issued alert that there were no methods of identifying which side of the brain to operate on.
Since the alert NPSA had another 15reports of surgery on the wrong side.

2007 56 incidents of wrong site operations reported to NPSA. Including brain operations.

If you think that has improved, God knows what it was like before.
It was abysmal before (don't get me started) the NHS is, huge to get it done much quicker would be quite an achievement but I was impressed (based on previous experience) at the speed of their work.
If you go to any country you'll find evidence of or accusation of incompetence you an't neccessarily blame the government for individual errors however popular that might be.
P.S.
It was about 4 weeks for the consultation and then the biopsy afterwards.
It may even be less than that (I lose track of time) I was away most of September and I went about a week or so after I got back (29/9/08)
If you read my reply 1540 today I did not blame the government.
The problem is that the government has given. the British public expectations of the NHS which cannot be achieved.
The bill for the NHS is in excess of 180,000,000 per year.

In UK we have only known an NHS and cannot compare it to any other...we have never known any other.

The NHS is either very good or totally unacceptable, depending upon which part of the country one lives in.
Is the post code lottery a legacy of the internal market?
I will take on board most comments about the government but not on the NHS, because it has improved by so much and so dramatically, it is'nt perfect by any stretch but it's a lot better than it was or ever would've been under the other lot.
not for everyone, 123; my GP retired and rather than replace her everyone on her list just got farmed out to other surgeries around town. I can seldom get seen in less than a week, except for emergencies (which=dying), even when in too much pain to sleep.

On the other hand, the last biopsy in our house was done immediately, result in a week (in the clear, fortunately). If I had to wait as long as you I'd be swearing. The NHS has clearly improved for some, but not for all. As for dentists...

Oh, Muslims. Well, it's all electronic these days so it's very hard to say which money came from a rogan josh and which from mushy peas, so it would be difficult to legislate on this.
