You know about the development and the labour movement, don't you?
You know that those who live in the inner cities are more likely to vote Labour, because of historical precedent?
Do you also know that Asians are far more likely to vote Conservative than Labour because of their traditions of self empowerment and family-orientation?
So...your point doesn't really hold water.
I suggest you have a look at the book 'Bl**dy Foreigners' by Robert Winder. It's 6.99 from Amazon (
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bloody-Foreigners-Robe rt-Winder/dp/0349115664) and it's not only well written, but full of stuff which stops one from dropping clangers - such as the supposition that 'immigrants are natural Labour supporters'.
