Who are they (on this site).

They are often talked about, but who are they exactly?

Interested in responses from AOG, R1Geezer, New Judge, Brionon etc.

And do you think they are all share exactly the same thoughts and political views?

Cheers - and no, don't particularly like Alexei Sayle (or Ben Elton for that matter). I have never actually read the Guardian myself.
Well Steve I've never read the Guardian but I love the Daily Mail, but then I've never claimed to be a high brow intellectual know-it-all either.
Steve.5 the .5 stands for 'Bell,' I like your cartoons, and I claim my free CD/booklet on the history of the World/ wall chart of invertebrates or whatever is on offer this week !.
If the Guardian is for high-brow intellectual know- it- alls, as hinted, who is The Times for?

It is obviously jake and jno. This pair of nanny pamby pinko trotsyist traitors deserve all the scorn heaped on them by all right thinking patriots.
steve I didn't say the Guardian was for intellectuals - I said it was for people who CLAIM they are intellectuals.

They are anyone who leaps up and down about the iniquities of the USA, the need to give massive compensation to anybody who has been anywhere near Guantanamo, the peace of Islam, How fantastic it is to fly aeroplanes into buildings, people who I have to presume won't mind being hauled up by a crane with a halter around the neck.
thanks for that Gormless - don't think I know anyone like that...
Oh dear, Steve, The Times is not right wing (even,I suspect, to the most liberal Guardian reader). It's not The Telegraph! ( I read both Times and Guardian)

It's intriguing that people here may form a view of The Guardian without reading it, or ever having done so.The Daily Mail is good at what it does. (It's a good women's magazine with a selection of overblown scare stories, by way of news, wrapped around that)
well obviously that's your opinion fred - I like it for the sports coverage, crosswords, and unbiased political reporting!!
Craft,

No you didn't say it was for people who CLAIM to be intellectuals. It is pretty stupid to lie when what you wrote is a few posts above. You are either completely dishonest or stupid.
well Gromit - as my earlier posting included the word 'claimed' and I am not a liar I guess I am just stupid. Although I (hopefully) don't think I could be accused of being rude and aggressive.
Craft

You did indeed use the world 'claimed'. It was in the senttence I have never claimed to be intellectual. It didn't claim Guardian readers claim to be intellectual.
sorry I guess it comes under 'supposition' - is that the right word?
