Ok with the report in The Times that Muslim population is growing at 10 times the rate of the non muslim population. Should the government encourage an indiginous population breeding program? Are there any other suggestions to halt the growth? if we cannot how long before there are enough Muslims to win a majority in general election? Then presumably they can change the rules and we'd have no way of stopping it, bar revolution of course!

Muslims are part of the indigenous population. Most of the muslims in the UK were born here.

Office for national statistics website: http://www.statistics.gov.uk/ - that will give you a fairly accurate number of people in the UK and also the number of people who said that they were Muslim at the last census.

I am sure you can work it out from there.

The obvious thing for you to do is to start going to church, or, if you are already a regular attendee, persuade as many of your friends who do not go to church, to start to go again. You could also go to Blackburn or Bradford and any Muslims you see, try to convert to Christianity.

There are currently around 1.8 Million Muslims in the UK and lets call 1.5 million of those over 18

There are currently 44 Million people in the UK who are entitled to vote.

So to get a majority in an election, all the Muslims will in 20 years have to have 5 children each who are all immediately entitled to vote. This will make 3.75 Million Muslims (assuming that half og the 1.5 million are female).

Whoops still not enough. So these 3.75 Million all have 5 children. Now there are 9.375 Million Muslims in the country. Hmm still not enough for a majority.

okay, lets wait another 20 years - 23.44 Million.

Another 20 years? 59 million.

So in 3=80 years, assuming that the white British population does not grow at all, there will be enough for a majority.

Of course, that will mean that there are well over 120 million people here (about double our current population), but hey ho - that's statistics for you.

I did work that out, so I'll take your figures, you are happy to be a muslim nation in 80 years are you? Tell you what though even in 1997 it only took 25% of the voters to elect a Noo labour landslide. So it seems that our lefty friends don't mind a future muslim government, presumably because they won't be about to live under it.! Can we just clear this up, Jake, vic, Gromit etc. You all seem to be turning this into some sort of arithmetic exercise rather than focusing on the main issue so can I assume then that you have already accepted that at some point in the future Muslims will form the majority in this country and no doubt also the rest of Europe?

The maths show the silliness of the question rhetorical or not.
But you (and several others) are also making the huge assumption that all Muslims are of a like mind.
Many Muslims vote Labour and Conservative I believe (although it may be untrue) that several even represent main stream parties at various elections.
The trouble with these threads for me is simple, I asked what are you prepared to do to save our country?
It's had 6 answers 1 of those is mine and another in support of my contention, that the answer appears to be nothing.
I'd love to be apathetic, but I can't be bothered.
It appears to me (as a man) that I should get over to Turkey and get me a Muslim bride (2 or 3 even) as they all do as their told (apparently), bang like sh1t house doors (apparently) and may be able to make me a really nice curry. ;-)
